but damn this some good animation…
he made this by himself for college thesis so you cant say the movie is better visually as if he had a studio backing him up when he did this.
the cat beast looked better in the movie
the movie is better, the characters have more variety. 1 has his cape, 3 and 4 have hoods and are smaller the the rest, 8 is a big guy. the movie is better

if your talking about 9 the puppet thing then yes it is very well done

Maybe. They could have made the scientist journals tell the story, or just one of the puppets to be able to speak… I don’t know. If they wanted, they could have made it different than all of the crap we see nowadays in cinemas. Dont get me wrong, I liked the movie but it was just a bit better than all the animations that come out every now and then, nothing special and they had something special to build on with that amazing short.
Because a feature length silent film would be REALLY hard to read.
This short is countless times better than the movie. I don’t get it why the puppets had to talk. It was perfect as it is in this short.

Cool. I like it. I like the sounds. And the action is good. In the end when 9 walks away, I try to imagine how it feels to be all alone in the world.
